Joseph Anderson

Justin Brew

Lead Pastor

Associate Pastor

Meet Joseph
Joseph Anderson is a man deeply devoted—to the presence of God, to his family, and to the local church. In 2018, he left his passion for coaching collegiate football to pursue his calling to pastoral ministry. His first role was as a pastoral apprentice, where he honed his skills in preaching and executive leadership. Following this, he planted a campus of Mercy Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, serving as campus pastor from 2020 to 2024. Joseph’s life has been defined by a steadfast willingness to follow God’s call. In 2024, he earned his Doctorate of Ministry and began the journey of planting Kingdom City Church. He is blessed to share his life with his wonderful and godly wife, Kaylon Anderson, and together they have four children—two biological and two adopted. Joseph feels a profound calling to preach the Word, lead the church in prayer, shepherd the flock, and equip the next generation of urban leaders and pastors. His life is a testimony of surrendering to and following God.
Meet Justin
Justin’s story with Jesus began in 2012, when he first started following Him. Not long after, he sensed God’s call to help others know and follow Jesus as well. While studying at Southern Wesleyan University, where he graduated in 2017, the Lord continued to grow his heart for people and for making disciples. After college, Justin stepped into ministry as a college pastor in Atlanta, Georgia, where he faithfully served for seven years. During that time, he married his best friend, Rikki, and together they welcomed their son, Ezekiel. Their family found a home in the historic Pittsburgh neighborhood on the south side of the city, a community that has become deeply dear to their hearts.

Now, in 2025, Justin is grateful to serve as a pastor at Kingdom City Church. His greatest joy is witnessing God’s Kingdom at work—on the college campus, within the church family, and throughout the Pittsburgh neighborhood they call home.

Justin Nichols

Allison Mantooth

Director of Operations

Worship Leader

Meet Justin
Justin Nichols is a decorated Army veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, and a father to his son, Wyatt. With experience spanning the private and public sectors—including nonprofit leadership and entrepreneurship—he brings both a servant’s heart and humility into ministry. He is passionate about serving the Kingdom, building community, and living out fellowship in Christ.
Justin’s life was transformed three years ago when he gave his life to Christ at Grumlaw Church in Hartland, Michigan, under the leadership of Pastor Shea Prisk. A longtime friend, John Ruttkofsky, persistently invited him to attend during a season of deep distress and walked alongside him faithfully, eventually baptizing him. In that moment, Justin’s life took a new direction, and he felt the Lord calling him back to Georgia to be closer to family and to serve the Kingdom.
Answering that call, he returned to Georgia in October of 2024, where God orchestrated multiple encounters with Pastor Joseph Anderson. Recognizing a mutual vision and shared experiences, Justin joined the ministry of Kingdom City Church, where he has been serving faithfully since December of 2024.
Outside of ministry, he enjoys the outdoors, staying active, and cherishing time with his family and close friends, always seeking to live out fellowship in Christ.

Meet Allison
Allison Mantooth serves as the worship leader for Kingdom City. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, she moved to Atlanta nearly two years ago and quickly fell in love with the city. During a three-month mission in Atlanta, the Lord called her to ministry and made it clear she would return. Just two months after completing that trip, God opened the door for her to move back permanently, and she has been faithfully serving ever since.

Allison is passionate about lifting high the name of Jesus and wholeheartedly desires to see His glory revealed and revered. She is honored to be part of the incredible work King Jesus is doing through Kingdom City, believing deeply that Jesus Himself is building His church, transforming hearts, families, and this community. Her greatest joy is creating space where people can encounter God and dwell in His presence —where burdens are lifted, freedom is found, and lives empowered to be radical for Christ! Allison has a huge heart for the body and walks faithfully in calling her brothers and sisters higher, championing them to step into the fullness of who God has called them to be. She burns to see the Church awakened, walking in unity, freedom, and radical devotion to Jesus.

Jayla Jarrett

JJ Skiba

College Resident

Meet Jayla
Jayla Jarrett is from Milledgeville, Georgia, and her greatest joy is being in church. For her, church is not just a place—it’s her heartbeat. That’s why it’s all the more powerful that she gets to serve as the College Resident, laboring in the very place she loves most.
Jayla carries a burning passion for ministry and a relentless pursuit of God’s own heart. She is about her Heavenly Father’s business—desiring to see lives transformed, chains broken, and hearts awakened to the power of Jesus Christ. Her heart’s call for Atlanta—the very place where she met the Lord during her time at Spelman College—is to call college students deeper into God’s presence, to stir up bold faith, and to see this generation rise up on fire for the Kingdom of God.

College Resident

Meet JJ
Joseph “JJ” Skiba is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, and studied Finance and Real Estate at UNC Charlotte. While in Charlotte, he met Pastor Joseph and heard the vision for Kingdom City Church. In that moment, JJ encountered God’s call with such clarity and conviction that obedience became the only response. With bold faith, he picked up his life and moved to Atlanta in June 2024—trusting God’s call and stepping fully into His plan. He first served as a Pastoral Apprentice and now serves as a College Resident.

JJ is passionate about discipling young adults and building genuine community—creating spaces where everyone feels seen and welcomed, by Jesus and the Church. Flowing from his gift as an evangelist and his heart of surrender to the Lord, he also carries a deep love for missions—a call that compels him to take the gospel from college campuses in Atlanta to the nations. Laid-back and lighthearted, he brings an approachable spirit to ministry, making it easy for others to feel encouraged and empowered to live a missional lifestyle.

Nygeria Anderson

College Resident

Meet Nygeria
Nygeria Anderson was born and raised in Gastonia, NC. It was there that she and her sister, Hermione Theodore, met Joseph and Kaylon, forming a deep, God-given bond that eventually led them to officially joining the family in November 2019. A little over a year ago, Nygeria felt called & moved to Atlanta to help plant Kingdom City Church alongside Joseph and Kaylon. Since then, she has witnessed the Lord’s faithfulness in countless ways and is deeply grateful for the journey He has her on.

Now living in Atlanta, Nygeria serves as a college resident and contributes to the church’s creative media team. She is passionate about art and all things creative—whether it’s drawing, painting, writing and journaling, or working on craft projects. Creativity has always been woven into who she is, and her love for it shines through in the way she serves, connects with people, and brings glory to the Lord.
Nygeria chose to step into the residency because she treasures being part of a Christ-centered community, loves to learn, and desires to sharpen her creative skills. She is excited to be in an environment that stretches and challenges her, while also walking alongside others who are partnering with her to discover her God-given calling through the unique gifts He has placed inside of her.
